ÉðÊ¿Âþ» School of Law will be holding its second annual Akron Law Cares event on Saturday, Oct. 2 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. Akron Law Cares is a community service project that benefits the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority.
Akron Law alumni, students, administration and faculty will be assisting senior residents at the Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority’s Fred W. Nimmer Place (1600 Brittain Road) and William E. Fowler Apartments (65 Byers Avenue). Activities will include “hands-on” work of assisting senior residents with cleaning and organization needs of their units, as well as joining senior residents for fun social activities.
“We hope this event continues to further Akron Law’s commitment to community service and pro bono activities,” says Pro Bono Coordinator and Professor of Law Joann Sahl.
